The AWOi gaming crew is back to give you all the gaming news this week! Gamecom is this coming week and it kicks off with Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighly August 22nd. The gang gives their predictions for what games might be at the show. Starfield has gone gold and the Stone is beyond excited for the game! Baldurs Gate 3 is out and it has received perfect scores from reviewers and gamers alike. Alan Wake 2 has been delayed by ten days and Assassin’s Creed Mirage has moved up it’s release date. The crew talks about how congested the month of October is for gaming. TMNT is getting a new video game based off the Ronin comic book run. Yoshida P wishes that gamers only played on one console for video games. Perry gives his update on Final Fantasy 16. The crew discusses an article from Gamespot about keeping your hype in check when it comes to video game releases. Diablo 4 season one has officially kicked off, and it isn’t the greatest reception for the community as the developers have nerfed almost every class, making the game uneven. Remnant 2 reviews are in and they are great! Pikmin 4 sales are down right now. The gang believes it’s because of Nintendo’s lack of marketing is why the game isn’t performing so well. Xbox and Playstation have settled on a deal for Call of Duty to be on Playstation consoles for at least ten years. Friend of the show Seth Fulkerson sat down with IGN at SDCC to talk about his upcoming video game Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore! Sony revealed the Spiderman 2 ps5 and controller. Microsoft and Sony are still bickering as the Microsoft/ Activision deal is still on trial. Sega has decided to not go forward with blockchains. Diablo 4 season one starts on July 20th while Bauldars Gate 3 moves up its release date to avoid competing with Starfield. And more!

Perry watched the Final Fantasy XVI pre celebration show and is now over the moon for the game as the Demo is now out for gamers to try! Enjoy our special coverage of this years Summer Game’s Fest and Xbox Showcase game reveals! The AWOI gang gives their thoughts of hit new games such as Prince of Persia The Lost Crown by Ubisoft to Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth coming out in early 2024! Perry gives his thoughts on the Life of P demo and is calling it an offshoot of Bloodborne. Gerrimy gives a quick deep dive for Nicholas Cage being in Dead by Daylight. Spider Man 2 is slated for October 20th and the gang discusses how The months of September and October are slammed with great video game titles. Mortal Kombat 1 is slated to come out September 19th and it has the fighting games community excited. For the second half of the show the crew watched the Xbox Showcase and Starfield direct to give their fresh reactions. Titles such as Fable, Cyberpunk Liberty, Senua Saga: Hellblade 2 and Persona 3 Remake were all shown off during the show! Bethesda went to a deep dive for Starfield and the game is slated to come out September 6th 2023 which is around the corner! The AWOI Gaming Crew is back to give you the gaming news! The Summer Games Fest is around the corner and the game gives their thoughts on what they’d like to see announced for the show. Number to gives her thoughts on Alan Wake 2 being digital only and how it will affect customers. Street Fighter 6 and Diablo 4 reviews are in and both games are receiving great reviews! Stone gives his first impressions for Diablo 4 and Perry gives his final thoughts for Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom and first impressions for Street Fighter 6. CD Projeckt Red has announced they are not for sale. Square Enix is worried about the low amount of pre orders for Final Fantasy XVI and is reportedly panicking. They also confirmed that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is still progressing smoothly as the studio is trying to nail down a release date. Bungie has played Naughty Dogs The Last of Us Multiplayer game and has said it needs to have more time in the oven. Final Fantasy 9 is apparently tied to the playstation 5 ecosystem even though it hasn’t been announced yet. Spiderman Across the Spiderverse talk. And More!

The AWOI Gaming Crew is back to give you the gaming news! The playstation showcase was this past week and it received a mix bag of reactions! The gang breaks down the games they are most excited about. Titles such as Metal Gear Solid 3, Assassins Creed Mirage and new ip games like Phantom Blade were shown. Also the potential of another Sony showcase later this year. Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia remake is currently in development hell. Stone mentions how he hopes the game gets the proper treatment it deserves as it’s one of his favorite games. The Sony handheld was revealed and it’s designed for cloud gaming. Alan Wake 2 will be digital only to keep the cost below the 70 dollar price tag. CD Projeckt rumors and more!

Mortal Kombat 1 has been announced and is slated to come out on September 19th. A playstation showcase is coming this wednesday and the gang tries to figure out what might be announced. Hollow Knight Silksong has been delayed even though it had no official date. Hogwarts Legacy, for the Switch has been delayed outside of July. Grand Theft Auto 6 might come out as early as 2024! Good luck to the game! Phil Spencer talks about the woes from Microsoft's latest game Redfall was not well received.
Overwatch PVE has been canceled and Sega might be planning to make more movies outside of Sonic. Anime and more!
