Helldivers 2 increases player cap to 700k thanks to the popularity of the game. Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League falls short of hitting its expectations leading warner bros to believe to have a hard financial year. The AWOI Gaming Crew is back to give you all the gaming news this week! Skull and Bones is is out and the game is actually performing really well for reviews. The Xbox news has stated that four games will head to Nintendo Switch and Playstation 5. Phil Spencer also hinted what the next generation will be a technological lift for all consoles. Playstation has announced that no new first party games will be coming until April 2025 at the earliest. The crew discusses how this okay seeing how all Playstation’s heavy hitters such as Santa Monica and Insomniac have already released huge titles. The Nintendo Switch 2 may have been delayed by a few months. Bandai Namco cancelled at least 5 games while Embracer claims to be looking out for shareholders by laying off 1400 workers. Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League also released this week and most of the reviews have been lukewarm. Sony’s first State of Play revealed new trailers including gameplay for upcoming titles such as Stellar Blade, Foamstars, Dragon’s Dogma 2 and even Death Stranding 2: On The Beach! A Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth State of Play is slated for this February 6th with sights of a demo for the game being released later that day. Neil Druckman has teased the concept for The Last of Us Part 3. The crew gives their thoughts on where the story might go for Naughty Dog’s beloved game. Microsoft has laid off 1900 game developers this past week, raising the case for them to unionize. An untitled Blizzard game has been canceled due to the aftermath. The Pokemon Company has made an official statement concerning Palworld and will be investigating the games as eerily similar creatures. Horizon Forbidden West will be coming to Pc on March 21st, Rocksteady has revealed the road map for Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League and it’s actually quite nice. Palworld, AKA Pokemon with Guns is now available on Steam and Game Pass as an early access experience. The crew discusses how the game is 2024’s first big success story for gaming and the possibility of Nintendo getting involved as the creatures are similar to actual Pokemon. The Xbox’s Developer Direct was this week and a few games were shown off including the release date Senua’s Hellblade 2 slated for May 21st! Bethesda’s Indiana Jones game was also revealed and the game is surprisingly a first person point of view experience. Square Enix would like for gamers to stop comparing their new upcoming game Foamstars to Nintendo’s Splatoon in hopes to creating a new genre called Splatter. A new Until Dawn movie is slated to come out and Number 2 is beyond excited. Microsoft prematurely announced the release date for Final Fantasy XIV for the Xbox and Rock Band 4 gets it’s final update. Wrestling and more!
